We love apple pie! I mean, who doesn't? But we're a brownie company, and brownie companies don't bake pies. Sooo... the logical thing to do is to capture the flavor in a brownie, or Blondie, in this case.
Vermont is home to some of the most beautiful apple orchards, including Shelburne Orchards, in our home town.
I recently took one of my kids to Apple Pie Day at our local orchard and it reminded me how incredibly lucky we are to live in this inspiring state. The natural beauty, the bounty of the fall season, and the many local farms that provide us with the tastiest ingredients we can get our hands on, including the apples we bake into every Apple Blondie. Here are few pictures from our day which included a wagon ride, apple pie baking contest, cider donuts, picking apples, and the biggest pie we've ever seen!
